The first single chosen to start promotional works is called “The Architecture Of Melancholy” and enforces the trio’s gloomy and darker side, be it in the lyrics as well as in music, stage outfits and video-clip images. Italian architect Aldo Rossi, the mastermind behind Modena city cemetery, has inspired all verses written by Guto Diaz. Bringing adapted verses which alludes to the final lines from Blade Runner (“All those moments will be lost in time/ Like dust in the Wind”) and German industrial rock from Einstürzende Neubauten (“Collapsing new buildings/ Houses made of lies”). Guto, basically plays with death, tracing parallels between the cemetery of the dead (tombstones, tombs and graves) and the buildings of the living (where people spend most of their time isolated and lonely). In the video shot for the track, director Raphael Moraes draws a thin line between these sides, with actress Viviane Maria personifying melancholy and wandering freely through both territories.
